This car mount is great. When I purchased it I thought it had an electronic vacuum, but it does not. There is a slide that engages the suction function. I will say that this suction works extremely well. It holds the mount securely to the glass screen of the car display. I have also tested it on a wooden tabletop. The magnet holds my phone (iPhone 16 Pro Max) securely, yet it one off easily when I want to release it.

Sturdy, compact and convenient
The video won’t upload, but here’s a photo of the stand in use at the nail salon. I am addicted to The Sopranos right now so I needed this. It was actually folded up in my mini Telfar bag so that shows how compact it is! I literally installed it with one hand. The on/off switch is amazing because the suction is super strong, but once you switch it to the off setting the stickiness goes away. There is no residue left when you remove the phone mount and your phone is secure with this MagSafe phone mount.
